I've been all over the place and this chocolate box I bought there was by far the best I've had ever. Expensive but worth every penny! Great for gifts!

I adore this place. The chocolates are all done by hand and are simply divine. I drive from Grand Junction just to get a couple boxes of truffles. I usually spend at least $40 each visit and it's worth every cent. Multiple flavors of truffles and buttercreams, and each flavor comes in your option of milk or dark chocolate. They also carry fudge and other chocolates like peanut butter cups, barks, caramels, sugar free options, and now ice cream toppings.

Holy smokes this place is fantastic. I could wax poetic about the selection, the flavors, the adorable location, the old world charm, but realistically it comes down to this: do you like sweets, specifically chocolate-based sweets? If you're reading this, I assume the answer is yes. Good. Go here, buy chocolate, enjoy it. Cheers.

Nice place to stop while driving through.

This out of the way location does not do justice to the world class samplings inside. Worth the diversion for any true chocolate lover.

This place was super clean and the ladies working were so friendly. Kinda expensive but it's local and the chocolate was delicious

We just happened into this place and what a find! Their chocolates were delectable... and so reasonably priced for homemade chocolate! They had an amazing assortment, as well! We didn't get a chance to try the ice cream, but the portions they were doling out seemed generous! Will have to try it again, next time we're driving through CO! HIGHLY recommend this delicious place!

Wonderful experience! This was our first visit. Delicious chocolates! The centers have a burst of flavor especially the Key Lime Butter Cream. We will definitely be going back. We got our Christmas shopping done thanks to Lisa's assistance.

Delicious! Read the rest of this review later... Go there now! A refreshing level of sophistication. Artisanal craftsmanship. Extraordinary knowledge base and pride is evident. Buttercream is smooth and creamy and ratios are perfect with flavorings. No taste of anything artificial whatsoever. Beautifully consistent display cases. Truffles. Yes. Chocolate is shiny and cracks. Ganache is smooth and luxurious. Subtle for the mature palate, not just the sweet on sweet like box chocolates. All in all, Drost's is on par with anything you might expect in a high competition, more metropolitan market. Very, very good.

Smooth, luscious mouth feel homemade chocolates! Caramel chewy and tender. Mango, coconuts pistachio brittle- nice combo, yum! Coconut mounds- I could eat about 7. If u want delicious chocolates or want to buy someone something special and it involves chocolate- go here, hands down.

What neat little place. Good ice cream. Friendly staff. You can get some cute little old time signs here. The whole place has a lot of old antiques. The popcorn was cheap however I wasn't fan. Maybe try making it more carnival style kettle corn or movie theater style would be great:)
